Coming from the county that contains a city with the highest crime rate and poverty rate in the US for the better part of the past 10-20 years I can tell you it's all "the man" holding everyone back. If it weren't for him everyone would succeed and no one would ever get murdered. It would be euphoria. Talk about your Catch22 to get caught in. Apparently you cannot have your smoke and carry a piece too. This is just another example of why many veterans will not go to get mental health help. All it takes is a little twisting of the interruption of the law and they lose their right to self defense with a firearm.

They will probably use this logic when it is legal for anyone to buy weed. "...since it is legal to ban weed users from owning a gun, and since anyone can now get weed, it stands to reason that we can ban all people who can buy weed from owning guns."

This should not be news to anyone. While I do not agree with it, every single firearm form Ive ever filled out asks about drugs, medicine use, and mental stability. Weed is illegal per the Fed and sadly states rights are insignificant to big bro. if your dumb enough to tell the fed you're using illegal drugs to combat mental health issues while you also have told them you have guns....well you're fucked. Again I don't agree, but it is the letter of the law. Getting caught with both is mandatory 5 years here with no chance of early release or probation.
