Well I was a bit leary about the 30's amp rating. But after watching a YouTube video of a guy sever cutting 5/8's (might have been 3/4") I figure its plenty for what I need. I love the drag tips it comes with. Although I wish I could have bought it a little cheaper without the pelican style case. I don't need it. But its an awesome case, has pockets and slots for all the accessories. It will just be stored up above everything. The Multimatic 215 is awesome so far. I still have yet to run wire through it but the display panel is incredible! Its like an ESAB Rebel.. which I almost went with. Its just cool.

Yeah my Miller plasma came with a heavy duty case as well. I won't need it once I build a cart for it.
Can your hypertherm switch between 220V and 120V?

Good! Yeah I just found mine for sale at a good price so I jumped on it. I was between Hypertherm and Miller.

Cool.. I did a quick cut with it last nice on some 3/16" angle stock.. like butter. VERY clean cut. I know 3/16 is not very thick but its probably close to the average thickness I'll be cutting.

I gave away the two welding carts I had when I sold them. Well I needed something to hold at least one of these items. So I bought a welding cart on Amazon to hold me over. It has drawers below it and appeared pretty nice and got decent reviews. It arrived yesterday and the 215 BARELY fits on it! Its too wide by about 1/4". Not a big deal I'll use it for the plasma cutter. Just need to order some steel and start to build a new cart for the 215. The digital display is slick. I'll edit this in a moment and add some pics.

Nice!

I wish you had more room on that outside wall, maybe it's a bit more than appears

Nice guys!

@Taco Loco I have that same set of wrenches and impact sockets. That wrench tool roll is heavy! LOL I ended up putting them all on a pegboard. Need to get the SAE version of the same. All my Gearwrench sockets are still in the plastic containers, I need to get them on some Hansen organizers in some tool box drawers so I remember to use the damn things.

@PSU Taco85 The hoist is the shit... I really wish I had just a bit more room to install one. I could do it now, but it would eat up space for other shit.

There's about 2 feet to the outside of the right column, hopefully that leaves enough for getting around there. I should have built a bigger garage! Always build bigger!

I've been cleaning it up the past couple days. I really need a good solution to wire storage that doesn't cost $500. I have a bunch of wire on spools that are taking up a considerable amount of space on my big work bench. I'm talking probably 3500' of anything from 0 gauge to 9 conductor 18 gauge. Most are 100' rolls... so ~35 rolls give or take. Something like this would be awesome... I guess I have no excuse now but to build one myself. LOL
