I have an upcoming project and will need to cut a good amount of corrugated tin. While tin snipes were the first thing that came to mind air shears are now getting my attention. Something like this.

My buddy was telling me to use a circular saw and turn an old blade backwards.

Anyone have input on the best option for cutting the tin?

we used a cir saw, but fathjer n law had an expensive multy purpose blade that was about $60, takes about 20sec per cross cut on I think 36in tin width

Here is the inside of the building before they moved out. There are 2 doors to the back yard. Also going to replace the floor with some fiberglass backed vinyl stuff that looks like wood.

Use a sawzall with a fine tipped blade if it doesn't have to look good. If it needs to be aesthetically pleasing then use snips.

I have a 7 amp Bosch jig saw.. it was the top of the line when I bought it. Its a beast though. Love it.

But look at CPO Bosch at there refurb'd stuff. I bought a refurb'd Bosch 5/8th drill from them... looked brand new. No complaints at all.

So DeWalt finally came out with a cordless 20V nail gun. I've been waiting for it to come out and I was thinking it would be around the same price as the 18V.
Nope...they are asking $500 for it. My jaw hit the floor. Fuck that DeWalt. That's crazy.

Would be nice to go without a air hose.

Another contractor I worked for had a 18V DeWalt nailer and it is awesome! Def worth the $180-250 they cost.

I've got a shit load of Bostich nailers (brad, framing, floor, finish, pin, staple.. yada yada.. probably 10 or so total) but all require a hose. Downside is that normally the hose is in the garage and gets all nasty. So I need to be cognizant of the hose I would use in the house otherwise it tracks in grease and grime.

Dingdingding. You nailed it. Sorry for the pun. :) plus you have to load up a compressor, airhose and gun. I guess all of that together, brand new, would be more than the cordless. I just have all of that stuff already. lol I want the cordless sooo bad though.

Just picked up a new drill and cordless impact.
20v bushless Dewalt combo. Old drill was not lasting more than a few min.

That thing is badass!! I have the one with two halogen heads and those bulbs suck! I break one every time I use it. I bought a single 800 lumen work light, but its not on a stand. Nice for working underneath something.. its bright enough to work yet not blind yourself. :D
