Tools!

Picked up a couple new tools this morning. Sick of borrowing nail guns everytime I need one and stringing air lines through the house. So I picked up this M12 18ga brad nailer since I have some trim work I need to do in several rooms. Also picked up a Ryobi 1 gallon sprayer. Needed a small capacity sprayer with interchangeable tanks. Milwaukee was twice the price and the reviews were pretty bad on it. Play this gives me a battery for the other couple of Ryobi tools I've ended up with over the years that I've never had a battery for.

I picked up both of those things about a year ago, 18ga nailer and a 1 gallon sprayer. But in the HF Bauer brand and I use Milwaukee batteries with an adapter on them. They work great. I don’t use them often but so far so good.

I like the Icon G2 ratchets. I have reservations about the grippy handle. I hope it doesn’t turn all sticky and nasty after it gets oil or similar on it. But I like them enough to get more.

Edit: Worse case they have a lifetime warranty.

I bought the ones without the grip handle in the extended version. So far they have been holding up well but have only had them for about 4 months

In hind sight I should have got the plain metal handle versions as I am sure they would last longer, plus I am a fan of the metal handle.

I desperately need a new toolbox for the garage. Was originally looking at the US General Series 3 56" setup but it's around $1300 right now even on sale. The Husky 52" heavy duty setup is only $900. Anyone have experience with both of these units by chance? I've heard good things about both but never from someone who has experience with both. I guess if it comes down to it, I will just have to venture out of town to go to HF to see the USG in person.

That's Mr Asshole to you
I got a new Husky 3 years ago and have been happy with it. HD had a memorial day sale going on and picked it up. Not sure the series or model.

Look for a HF parking lot sale or similar. But I don’t think you can go wrong with either. My neighbor has the Husky stuff and it’s very nice. But I also like my HF US General stuff.

My insomnia last night led me down a YouTube rabbit hole in both boxes. Think I like the Husky more. But I guess I'm going to just have to take a trip to HF next time I get a chance and see one in person. Of all the shit this city has and is building on a weekly basis, somehow we don't have a HF.

$200 more? What matte gray 56" box are you seeing for $350? Its showing that green as $548.

That looks skinny! If you are gonna spend the $$ get one that is deep.
