Toyota Jambo 2016

Jambo 2016 has been announced for May 12-15th this year. I'm looking forward to it since I missed last year. I just checked with Megan; she might be able to ditch class on Thursday evening so we might be able to be out there after lunch on Thursday; worst case Friday before lunch.

I might be in Utah at this time so that wins over Jambo. However if Utah does not pan out with work I will be at Jambo.

Was there any changes to the camp site area last year? I was debating getting one of the RV slots this year to be closer to power and out of FJ headlights all night.

Pretty much the same spot but closer to the road under a few trees.

every rv slot has the 30amp plug and a separate 110v plug.. you can always use mine if you would like. Hard part is finding grass!

Think with my tent setup I will toss a layer of cardboard under it to make the "floor" work better. Last time it was pretty decent.

Go grab a large scrap of indoor outdoor carpet from Home Depot. Under $20 and it its not bad for under a tent.. also works well to keep crap out of the tent.

I am really enjoying the idea of wheeling and camping with my DD. Looking forward to getting it in the dirt at Jambo.

Its a great idea until you fuck it up and realize you have to be to work on Monday. Trail rigs are WAY better suited for that. I just don't have time to wheel. If mine was a 3 seater it would be more plausible. Anyhow...

Exactly the reason I decided against SASing the Tacoma. Dumping another $8-12k in it wasn't going to give me anymore free time to go wheeling.
