I took 25 gallons of fuel and used almost 5 gallons a day. It really depends on how much you intend to drive around.
BBRSP.. Gualle 2 campsite.. done. Bring extra fuel and coldbeer praise Jesus!
Lol short and to the point. Excellent. Any reasons?BBRSP.. Gualle 2 campsite.. done. Bring extra fuel.
Damn. I'll be getting a couple Jerry cansWhat Sean said. 15 gallons is not too much extra fuel
I'll mostly be hiking but I want to do a little driving and get to some cool spots
.Yeah, I did a bit of research to find the "hardest trail". All has to do with comfort and experience too. One mans easy is another's terrifying.
I ask that you treat that lovely woman with dignity and respect...Come on; Drew's Mom isn't that horrible.
.Nice! Awesome map. Any chance of knowing what the distances are to the top? Never mind, I see the measurement toolThe northern area is supposed to be "difficult". We talked to Park Ranger last time and he said the hardest parts where in the northern most sections. Unfortunately we didn't plan fuel well enough so we didn't get to see it. Next time I won't make that mistake. The area in the furthest north area.

Also for reference, from the highway to the ranger station was about an hour. And yes there are park rangers out there with radar guns enforcing the speed limit, but we only saw a couple. The road in is shit, total washboard.

Nice! Any other areas that are park and camp that are easily describable? The NW part is where I am planning to go next time. It is camp-where-you-park up there so the RTT will be perfect.
Lol, I have slowed in my age but I will check it out. I may be about to settle a big deal with an oil company, if that is the case then I may get some upgrades before my trip. Also, take Pinto Canyon road from Marfa to Persidio.. its awesome.. and the road into Persidio is FUN.. I am pretty sure I caught air a few times.![]()
