What have you done to someone else's ride lately?

Did my first oil change on the Sequoia after all the "free" dealer ones. We're sitting at 30k miles now.

Stupid wind dam removed. Thing looks more proper now.
Fumoto valve installed for ease of future changes.

I'll say that I was impressed by the thickness and weight of the factory skid. Way more stout than I expected. Not sure I'd bounce it off any rocks, but it would probably hold up for at least a little while.

Im sitting right around 45k on mine. How many times have you had it in for the rear lift gate, gas door or peeling paint? So far its been a pretty good ride, but i definitely wouldn't have spent my own $ on it. Oh, on my last road trip I heard a loud slapping chattering sound and found that the luggage rack on the passenger side had come loose with broken clips whilst in the middle of windy ass NM and over 1000k from home lol.

Yikes! Have had none of that. We have had the driver seat plastic and radio knob replaced....twice each. There are times when the engine sounds junky, but the dealership tells us "that is normal."

I don't really think it is, as I know what an engine should sound like, but it runs fine so I'm telling myself that it has something to do with the hybrid system. It almost sounds like clapping coming from underneath.

I've had mine in 3-4 times for the rear hatch. It was just randomly opening while parked and locked. I'd go to start it from the App and it wouldn't because the hatch had opened in the middle of the night. Then the auto close stopped working too. I ended up turning off the foot activated release thinking it was my fucking cat that was triggering it even though that feature should not work while its locked. It has not done it now for about a month, but my coworkers was doing the same thing inside her garage with no animals. Her fuel door stopped popping on hers a few times too, but not mine. I've not had any engine issues so far, but the stupid front radar bs will randomly say it needs to be cleaned and kill the cruise (i figured out how to run it without the adaptive feature on my last road trip) but it's think that it was just a bad connection because I unplugged it and plugged it back in and so far no issues.

That's Mr Asshole to you
Wife's car was needing back tires. The Michilen Pilots were around 47k miles. Were just talking the other day about when we would get them, and last night we got a flat on the way to the Ranger game.
Went to DT to get some today. Ended up with some Continental tires to match the front.
About to do brakes on all 4 corners. The rotors are warped and the vibration while braking is driving me nuts.

@thekidcatcher and I helped a buddy swap CV axles, pads & rotors on a buddies 2002 Tahoe. That CV design is so much better than what the Tacoma's have. It was really simple and easy to swap out.

The Cheby axle is held on by 4 bolts to the diff and one 36mm nut to the hub. You don't have to use a slide hammer setup or prybar to pry the CV axle out like you do on the Tacomas. It also doesn't have the shitty hub seals either on the Cheby.

A wire rope around the base of the CV and then around the handle of a sledge hammer yanks CV's out very quickly. But y'all probably already knew that.

Oh yeah, we know that technique all too well.

I need to change the diff fluid in the kids Jeep so I figured, might as well upgrade the diff covers. Ended up getting a set of Yukon Hardcore diff covers for front and rear. Probably do it next weekend though. I am waiting on parts. But Amazon had them for less than half price of what they are on Yukons website!! I really hope they ship and they are what they say they are.

Edit.. looking promising. They shipped via USP 2nd day air! Says they will be here Tuesday. Hmm.. cool.
