What have you done to your ride lately?

Does pulling a new spindle off a junk car in the ghetto count as "doing something for my ride"?

When I got the 4runner aligned, the tech pointed out that one of my spindles was bent. Must have happened when it fell off the back of the Dilux while we were installng the LT.

Sure why not

Bumper is on and Straight
Removed and replaced the "Complementary" replacement brackets for my bumper. Still need to change out the front frame mount to something with just a shade over the paper thickness of its current design.

BUMMER:
Found a crack in the FJ Cruiser Crumple Zone. Drilling a stress relief hole in moments from now. This is where the experience from building the Pig has made me feel far more confident that a doubler on that section should be a good addition. My bad for enjoying the fast dirt road when its offered to me in the desert. The feeling of the 4 wheel flights are INCREDIBLE!!! lol.

The new Taco frame is so much weaker than the older pickups. I get under the Raisin or Clyde and its a beefy (although smaller) frame. It really would have been nice if Toyota did a fully boxed frame on the newer Taco/FJ/4Runners. But at least you know how to fix it. If you are going to be beefing up the front frame section on the Taco might as well go all out. :)

I like this for a motor mount gusset.

No doubt! When I cut the frame for the IFS box, I felt like I was cutting into a vault!!!

Do the welds come with that motor mount gusset!!! :D

I still need to put on the TC gussets I picked up. I'm going to do it when I trade my Camburgs for some TC Uppers. I ordered the I-bling ones but they were on backorder for a couple of months - so I canceled it since I had a Pig-blood hemorrhage!

Sanded an painted my bumper (that is now in it's right position - although I am nervous to winch with it) and sanded and painted my sliders (that haven't changed their position since I mounted them! :)).

Remounted my air compressor.
