Look like chromoly to boot!

ding, ding, ding!!!

Good and bad - between the current physical layout of my truck, my front diff is off center to the driver's side and the track is 1" wider than OE. I have ICON billet UCAs that are currently adjusted out 1/2" more on each side. The front end aligns perfectly with the cams being in a near perfect center. The cv axle on the driver side is, from flange-to-flange, the OE length. The passenger side needed to be 1 inch longer so that the tripod in the inner 'cv' is in the proper 'working' location. I was hyper-extending that joint and dislocating the inner joint. This should be a relatively inexpensive cure to my truck's ills! :) They were made for my by the owner of Sway-A-Way... good guy. :)

I had the same issue on my Taco once I got it lifted to 4" and had the Light Racing UCAs installed. The Driver side CV kept pulling out of the diff (since if had a birfield instead of 3-tree).

The anal retentive guy in me wanted to find and resolve the root cause. The beer drinker in me wanted a quick fix. The drinker won! lol

Well I wanted to test the hydraulic anti-sway bars so I went up to my friends house where there are some GREAT twistees. :) I gave the keys to him and said I needed him to test the suspension. Now I know why one of my friends HATES driving with me in the 7 in the mountains! lol These mountain roads have no guardrails nor berm. WTF? He had fun and I had to change my pants! lol

The best part of all? The dynamic suspension is fixed! Took about $1 worth of hydraulic fluid. :) Sean, I think it's high time you get an Audi! :) lol

So it was only the $20 part? Damn lucky!!

I was looking at used Audi S8's with the V10 about a year ago. They can be picked up fairly cheap... well not cheap... but WAY WAY less than their 90k initial pricetag. What scared me away is service and repair!

You know you like! lol

Plus they have sexy 'crumb catchers' lol :) My front seat bolster just moves forward. The 8 has one that reels out more leather! :)

On a side note for those who have had cages built what was the approx cost. I'd do it myself but I just don't trust myself to design and build one

Berry berry nice! I'll be looking at vehicles again in about a year. Building this house is taking priority but once its all set we'll be looking again. We'll see.
