Painted my skid plate, ground off spare tire carrier "guide" rods, installed a new ground wire for my radio (PIA), cleaned out my tool box and got rid of all the unnecessary junk. Also installed new washers for my UCA's and removed my sway bar. I'm packed and ready to leave for tomorrow.

Well replacing the lcas solved my clicking noise that I have had for years, fingers crossed. Getting my tires rotated, balanced, and then an alignment.

Replaced the lower ball joints on my runner, was a pain in the ass only because I didn't have a ball joint separator to get my track bars off and it was 105 today. After a short break my neighbor came home (retired mechanic) he had a separator 10 min later finally off and was able to wrap up the front. Also took off the lift after a failed attempt at installing tundra coils I just left the spacers off and put the stock rear coils on. Awesome way to spend my off day.

Just found out moms got some serious lung issues to add to her 3 cancers she has beaten and her current exploded L12 vertebra so we are going to discuss selling her house or mine tonight. Oh the joy. I have a rancher so it's simple for me to pick. Sell her house and I can build her an in law suite on mine. Hell I already have one basically. Maybe the only good thing would be I would not be house poor no more if I got her as a roomie

Danka....will do. We all have to go sometime and she is in good spirits and OK health now. Just planning for the future. She's had near death illnesses twice this year and now has just been diagnosed with Pulmonary Emphysema/COPD. I'm trying to get her to sell her house and move in with me, but she wasn't so hip to the idea last night. I have a 4 bedroom 2 full bath rancher and she has a three bedroom 1-1/2 bath 2 story house. She moved in there to take care of her parents 15 years ago and I'm not going through what she did taking care of them with those stairs. It was hell. Her yard is small and has no room while mine is huge and has plenty of room for a detached garage in the future. All she see's is me trying to take her from her house. I just need to get her to think logically because my house is the best option for all.

I would try to drop some Benjamin's on them of course. Problem is I got out of the local scene this spring because going out and watching them wheel was a downer & now I'll feel like a mooch asking for help. The one guys had my transfer case skid for almost a year waiting for me to drop off the steel to extend it.....I cut the steel 8 months ago

Evey time I run into them both ask me when we are going to get it done. Think Ill start making calls and accumulating parts/fluids this week.

I think one of the front CV's, u joints, or wheel bearings on the Ford is starting to go so nothing like being forced into motivation. I haven't looked at it yet but it's all wheel drive and makes some front passenger side grumbles for the first couple miles and has some mean vibes at weird times.
