What have you done to your ride lately?

I finally got around to cleaning out my truck.

I also ordered new E3 spark plugs because I realized I already have a 100k miles on mine. :(

Also picked up 2 new sets of OEM boots as my passenger side has dry rotted.

Just before we crashed ordered some axles through this company:

http://www.cvjreman.com/about.php

I ordered them with OEM boots for about another $50-60 more for a total of $150-160 each. I helped Mario slap a few of these into his truck. I thought they did a very nice job. :) $75 each for core.

I replaced my spark plugs. The E3's definitely had a 100k miles on them and they looked like normal. There wasn't any bad corrosion or anything on them, so I put the new E3 plugs in.

Passenger side: 10-15mins
Driverside- 1.5 hours.

I didn't even remove all the crap in the way, I worked around it and it still took me that long. Ridiculous.

Semi local guy I know from TW was parting out his truck so yesterday we swapped out my old tired mechanical LSD third for a nice new to me used ARB locked third with about 30k on it after the guy got it from ECGS. Also grabbed his ARB CKMA12 compressor and he just gave me his Warn M800 winch. Only issues I can see is a little rust on the drum and the rope screw is FUBAR. Synthetic line looks ok with no frays. I got all the wiring and he made up some custom brackets for the solenoid and compressor he also gave me. He told me the winch shorted out and may need a new motor, but for free I could care less whats wrong with it.

If anyone with a double cab wants a full set of weather tech mats in black for cheap let me know. He was going to give them to me but I already have Huskys and prefer them.

I stated that poorly....no coffee in me yet. Just the winch for free. I saved over a grand on locker/compressor compared to new. Lockers also now in it's third truck lol
When we were done he asked me if I wanted so swap my rear 5100's for his Walker Evans but my pass side is puking oil so he didn't want to trade it in tomorrow with a shitty shock. Think he may actually be a member here :notsure:. We have both helped each other out in the past with parts. When he traded in his last truck I lent him my rusted out POS Y pipe and the next week he gave me a brand new one that I still have.

I also scored a almost brand new Interco 255/85/16 on a yota steel wheel he was using for a spare. He sold his bed mounted spare tire holder to a buddy of mine so after we took it off and he tried to mount his spare he quickly found out it wouldn't fit. He was going to just throw it in his bed so I told him to grab one of the OE spare's I had sitting behind my shed with a rugged fail on it.

Here's his build http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-builds/165568-paps-build.html#post3400556

Brrr.. we are at about 35 degrees or so and raining. Sorta wish the temps would drop 10 degrees or so and just make it a winter wonderland for a few hours.
