Long day of hunting down a replacement stud and grease fittings. I did manage to get a shock tower welded on before going to a friends house for dinner. I also finished the steering and greased all the bushings (and replaced the fittings that broke off).

*I am going to brace the tower behind it.

Pulled the front axle again today. Welded up the axle truss and painted the whole thing. I'm adding a OME AAL to the front to add alittle more spring rate with the bumper I have on the front.

Pull that 3rd and weld it up.. you've got locking hubs so it won't hurt road manners but help off road.

I checked out the rig after getting it rolling today. Overall it isn't bad for 80% of the parts coming from a $300 parts rig.

Quit posing and go finish that fucker up. :)

Working on it; getting the next round of parts ordered now. The next couple of days will be about finishing up the front axle while I am waiting on parts and getting the rear armor put on.

Changed my rear diff fluid in hopes that my rear diff leak is gone. Guess I'll find out soon. Really hoping it's not the pinion seal, although I'm pretty sure it is. Need to do all the rest of the fluids this weekend as well. Guess it's time to stop by the Amsoil store.

Painted front bumper and the new skid, did some rewiring to clean things up a bit behind the dash, new radio bezel since I cut up the old one to fit the Scion stereo, wired up a sub and amp I had laying around from my old truck. I'll post pics in my build thread later

Got my bed lights relocated to the bed rack. Wrapped the wires in some poly loom and put a quick disconnect up by the cab for removal if needed.

I like the idea of the quick disconnect. Smart thinking.

That sure is a blingy shock mount.

Not sure about the "blingy" but I like the thickness of the metal and built in three mounting holes. I looked at the options and this one fit my wallet/time frame better.
