Thanks. I have never had a MIG before so I am using my high school expertise.

If the weather holds up next week, I may be riding up there with the tube doors on again :)

Engines are easy to replace. Frames are not.

You can be fan-boy all you want. I now hate new Toyotas and wouldn't have mine right now if I still had a payment...

Fan-boy... lol You sure are awful defensive about a Jeep. It's ok, my daughter wants a jeep so I'm sure there will be one in my drive someday.

I have been muttering similar thoughts. Just this weekend I was thinking, "Should I find a new frame and build it the way that I would like it to be built and then transfer the body and build a cage... " Then I woke up.

There is something to be said about Dana's ability to build a frame for Toyota. I wonder how those development discussions went.

The frame and the body on the Tacomas have a lot to be desired. In talking with Toyota engineers, the Land Cruisers have two times the number of spot welds and it shows - I was bothered by the noise from the crack on the C pillar of my truck just this weekend. I have already welded the driver side, now it's time for the passenger side.

There may be a new truck in my future after the shop gets going but I'm not sure what it will be. I do like the DYNATRAC prepared JKs that I see from my office every day. Maybe I can get the hook up. :)

What are you going to do with it? Wheel it or drive through mud puddles?
