Well I just went for a drive on the highway and was watching the tire, it seems to have a little play in it but if I jack it up I can't move it at all. Is it possible that using 4 hi would make a weird noise not in the front diff but at the bearing on the driver side? I'm thinking about going to the dealer tomorrow. I redid my drive shafts not to long ago but I will double check them.

Check your rim after driving it a bit. If it's hot, then you're bearing is just about gone...

I didn't have the money or need for gears and a front locker at the time. I still don't have the need for a front locker but I'm just going to do it and be done with it. All I've done is swap the rear diff. Not like I did all the work myself and having to undo/redo it.

Damnit... installed the new seatbelts in the 81. They went in easy peasy.. but the nice piece that holds the end you clip into is too short. My fault, didn't order it long enough. But the company was super cool. They are like, send em back.. we'll charge $7 a side to make em longer. The guy was just going to send them out but they have to sew in a tag for Big Brother so he has to reuse the tags. But for $7 plus shipping.. not a bad dealio.
