I went to the hardware store and got some things for the man cave. Some of the trim pieces were 12' feet long so I opened the rear sliding window and slide them into the cab. Got home and tried to close it by pushing the button and no luck. Drove around a little and no luck. Seared the net and its a common issue for the switch to fail on the F150s. Found some posts about the switch being on back order so I went to the dealer to order a new and figure out a way to close the window since rain was in the forcast and the sky to the west was dark.
Dealer had it in stock and it was only $40 so I felt like I had won the lottery. Get home and install it and the window closes, but not before breaking the plastic trim piece that goes around the dome lights and switch. Pull it all out and glue it back together, watch it dry for the a period of 3 beers and then it all goes back with out any problems.
Moral of the story? Have plenty of beer on hand to watch glue dry.
