I used to use a deadblow that was big enough to hit both sides of the seal at once...

It was straight. You can also put a scrap piece of 2x4 over it, then pound.

Well, if you're gonna do 37s, might as well go 40's.... Can't say I've seen a 2-door jk on 40's..... Probably a reason for that. Lol. Anyway, probably won't go much bigger until I replace the D30 front axle, or at least HAVE a replacement for it ready to go in.

I did that, and bent the fuck out of the 1st one. Luckily I bought 2, and bent the fuck out the 2nd one too

I tapped it all the way around with a flathead and a ballpeen hammer until it seated right. It marks up the inside a bit but it's not gonna hurt anything.

Man, I wish I had the funds to get it and swap it over for coils (I assume it's set up for leaves) and use it. But I have nothing left in my mod budget right now.... And I don't see that changing drastically soon. Lol

I did that, and bent the fuck out of the 1st one. Luckily I bought 2, and bent the fuck out the 2nd one too

Put a little grease on the spring side so it doesn't pop off as well. I used a rubber mallet and a 2x4 once I got it seated. To get it started I used a brass punch to evenly seat it all the way around. Not sure what seal you got but this is the one's I've been using with good luck, national PN 710573

Went and checked out future axles today. They looked pretty rough for supposed low mileage axles. Front didn't turn at all and the rear was leaking bad at the diff and at both rear seals by the rotors. I decided to pass on them. Looking for tons now.

I picked up some steps for my truck today. It's getting a whole pile of parts thanks to a 97 year old man running a red light.
Entire lift is getting replaced, 4 tires, new control arms, and front bumper is getting a new coat of paint.

Passenger drop 60s are easy to find, id have done the swap years ago if the passenger drop 60 would have been feasible

Of course you could order a diamond 8.4 would be cheaper and almost as strong with better ground clearance
