Unfortunately you can't put a cunthair or a jewelers flat tip between the spindle and dust cover, I used a rubber mallet for about 30min all the way around that damn thing had no movement, probably gonna order one and then use a lot of force to get it out.

I just dented the shit out of mine and pried them off, hammered the cap back in shape later. Wheel bearings are no fun the damn things aren't even serviceable never did figure out why my truck at driver side bearings like candy every 10k it needed a new one yet the passenger side still had the original bearing in it

I used an old Craftsman screwdriver and thinned the tip on a grinder.. took a deadblow and tapped it in and wiggled.. did that all the way around. easy peasy.

Yep I mutilated mine with a hammer and flathead. Then used a ball peen hammer to get it back into shape before I put it back on.

Decided to upgrade more speakers in the Taco. The Alpine PDX 4.150 amp I have driving the fronts is a lot of power (birth sheet states 173 watts per channel x 4) for a set of 5.25" components and a pair of 8's to handle, I've smoked probably 5 or 6 sets over the years (killed a set of "real" MB Quart QSD13's.. before MB Quart became shit, a pair of Pioneer Premier's that I loved, two sets of Alpine SPX13 Pros.. discontinued, Morel Tempo Ultras). So I decided with these new Morels that I want them to last so I'm going to run another set of 6.5" Morels in the back doors and run them off the same channels that the fronts get. Not in 2 Ohm, but in 8 Ohm. The 6.5's that I bought are a coaxial but they still utilize an external crossover. The PDX amps don't really care about Ohm values, they produce the same either way.. or so they say. Either way, should be plenty of power to go around. Next will be to replace the Morel 8's in the front doors with Morel Hybrid 8's. Better tonal match to the Ovations. Pretty stoked to get it all installed.

You risk burning up the amp running speakers at 8 ohms, the 12v DC power is why almost all car speakers prefer 4 ohm

Balance, rotation, and alignment. They also pulled 6 screws and pieces of metal out of the tires and patched them. I'm going to start billing my work for that bullshit. No reason I should have to pay out of pocket to fix my tires because they can't keep the roads clean.

Also, FUCK Firestone. This is my last alignment with them to get my money's worth out of the lifetime alignment. I'll never use them again. Tired of their corporate bullshit.

Also, Go to the 12volt.com and reference the wire wizard for your configuration

Discount Tire only charges me for a new certifcate $22 or $25 each on the last 2 sidewall damages, got 2 new tires.
Load range D & E after 2 repairs/patches on tread portion they replace the tire as well.

Not my PDX amps.

LOL.. if anything the amp will run producing less power and less chance of burning up. Its when you run them at 1 ohm that the magic smoke escapes.

BUT.. the PDX amps are stable and produce the same amount of power at 2 ohm that they produce at 4 ohm. (some smart circuitry inside that does limits it). So I can really run it either way.. I just think that cutting down some power output won't be a bad thing.

My next set of tires will be through Discount Tire and I'll get the certificates. These were a CL special so I don't have any kind of warranty on them.

You can buy a warranty on fairly new tires purchased anywhere with Discount, I have also bought the warranty from them on new cars that I have purchased

Didn't know that. Wish I would have. These tires only had 600 miles when I got them. They were practically brand new.
