What have you done to your ride lately?

Have you already replaced the rears drums yet? And yes I agree, they are terrible.

Yes. I have been reading and once a month we are supposed to back up while engaging the parking brake. - A lot easier when you have a manual. Have any of you guys been doing that?

Nope I haven't been. lol I'll do that tomorrow. Did you make sure that you adjusted the tension right? Not too tight and not too loose...just right. lol

If you're not going to need that passenger side extra cab window. I may know someone who could use it!

I believe I can help you out on that Brian unless I bust mine out first :)

I did. I'm even contemplating changing out the parking brake cables. Like my member, they may have been streched one too many times. :)

lol I am sure they have some enterainment over there. I will never forget the douche that thought he had a trophy truck and totaled it out at one of the CA races. Then got another and I that was totaled in a few months. I don't rember if the second truck was before or after he got popped for insurance fraud.

Pretty much the only thing I check over there is the Tx classifieds. The rest they can have.

Same here. When it's not full of idle off topic banter. I went off about a month ago

The problem on my brake cables was the salt air corroding the metal and they broke off. You might want to check the connections where the cable goes into the drum.

Do you need the seal as well or just the glass?

I'll check. At the same time I saw why I may have had taco lean. Driver side front leaf perch is now a slot. Gonna weld a large washer as a new hole. :) Boy, for as much as I baby my truck, I certainly have my fair share of carnage. :)

I looked to see if I had a pic of where it broke off but I don't have one.

Oh nice!!! :) Surprisingly my fix was amazingly simple. Just welded beads on top of eachother, grind and then re-drill the holes.

Well.. I suppose I shouldn't be upset, but after 7+ years the DieHard Platinum Marine battery in the back of the truck is not acting like it should. I've had it fully charged the past two nights and let the ARB fridge run off of it overnight (half loaded with sodas and Gatorade) and it hasn't had the balls to keep it going all night. Both days I've woke up to it at ~50 degrees. Battery taking a shit is probably, in a large part, my fault for not charging it like a marine battery (let it go almost fully dead and then charge back up) so I am not pissed. So I'll be off to Sears to pick up the biggest Platinum non-Marine battery they have. That being said during the day time that thing drops down to 26 degrees quick and stays there.. even sitting inside the cab cooking away.
