What have you done to your ride lately?

Aftermarket gauge the previous owner installed - so it may be off. Need to borrow a scangauge to confirm it better I guess.

I just found my Scangauge earlier today. I think I have it programmed for trans temp. I'll hook it up in the morning and let you know. If it is, you can borrow it.

That would be great. I have also found an older post on YotaTech where another owner with the same setup I have recorded temps/speeds exactly like mine with the 70628 cooler installed but at ambient temps of 80 degrees; not 100 like mine today.

After a couple hours of research I think I am going to change the trans fluid, reevaluate the temps, and then buy the larger cooler if it is needed still. I just do not like having temps that close to 200 on a regular basis.3

Update: This morning the temps were warm but equal to another similar truck (no super charger). This afternoon it was the same until I passed someone. Once I passed the person (50 mph up to 65 to pass and then up to 70 to cruise the speed limit) it went up to 180 and then slowly climbed to 210 like it could not cool more than it was gaining. So I went ahead and ordered the B&M 70266 cooler for the added capacity and cooling ability. If I have a problem with the trans not getting up to operating temps in the winter I will add a temp bypass.

Spent too much money on maintenance for my truck. But it has to be done. Hoping to get it all installed next weekend.

Rotors and shoes
Water pump
Timing belt
Dakar AAL
Rear brake line
Greasable shackles
Trans oil cooler
Spark plugs and wires
Change all the fluids

Anyone in the area is welcome to come help. Because I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing when it comes to the timing belt and water pump. Engines scare me.

Does anyone have an extra vehicle that is street legal or close to it? I am willing to help get it running. Need something I can park in front of my house that I can drive once a week. I will even pay liability on kt. Uglier the better.

Already talked to him. Nothing close enough to being street legal. My buddy is going to talk to his uncle that has a towing company to see if has something. Also Blake's runner might wok with some labor hours.

I might have something in the works. Also my parents neighbor has an old bronco that runs and I might go talk to him this weekend. It is big and ugly so it fits my wants perfectly.

I didn't even think about our Bronco. All it needs is the seat belts bolted in and an inspection. It's pretty ugly. And loud as fuck.
