Well, I thought I was fixing the car but it looks like I signed up for an advanced lesson in life. I'm not completely sure but it looks like I have to strip the engine back to where it was and time the valves.

Theoretical knowledge will be acquired through watching many related/unrelated accurate/inaccurate YouTube videos, reading many related/unrelated accurate/inaccurate posts in Bimmer boards, bits and pieces of the factory manual, Internet articles, etc.. Requires 20 hours plus of moderately effective lab dismantling and reassembling the top end and cooling system of the N62 engine multiple times. Pass/Fail 4 credit hours. Class is thought by Charles Dinkle, PhD Philosophy - class will be held in Morning Glory campus

I knew this one "friend" that had a broken down BMW. He towed it to a wal-mart parking lot and left the keys in it. Good thing he had full coverage on it.![]()
