Used a cheap cigar to make a smoke machine out of juice bottle, cigar, hose and Coleman mattress pump. Worked well. Good and bad news: No vacuum leaks. Time to replace some sensors and actuators I guess.
Worked on the taco. Had to put a new backing plate on one side so I changed out wheel bearings, seals, (OE wheel cylinders had less than 10k on them), new hardlines and finally modified the bracket to hold the SS brake lines I purchased from All Poo years ago. They required a 0.625 round hole - I am certain that they were cheaper for them to buy and it would be us suckers problem to sort it out. did any of you that bought SS lines get ones that locked into the hex opening in the bracket? Or am I imagining things?
And isn't it appropriate that I see this car the day I put on the ARP studs. Sadly, I need to cut them down since they are made for racing where they require x threads showing out of the nut and I'm too cheap to buy $80 set of nuts when I have a couple of sets of extended lug Gorilla nuts.
