Got some goodies from Kevin at ATO. He was nice enough to drive them to the URE meet in NC this past weekend. Super cool guy and the skids are 100% beef. I would recommend ATO to anyone and everyone.
Gave them a quick sanding, then some cleaning and rolled on some industrial primer. Ill paint them tomorrow and start the other side this weekend.

Finding a way..
I threw my AP rear bumper on this weekend and almost got a chance to test it out on the drove home....some stupid chick almost rear ended me. almost. Is it wrong I found my self going "wait for it, wait for it.....damnit!? I'll get pics up later this week. Thanks again to all who gave me advice and ideas. next up for it is a snorkel system and lights.

Well Brianna is out of town all week so Kenna is a little off schedule... I think she'll be up late no matter what tricks I try. My oldest daughter had a switch in her butt (or so it seemed), put her in the car and she was OUT! But Kenna just sleeps a little and then wakes up.

Took the day off to get some crap done. On Clyde and the Taco.
Installed the new 8's in the doors of the Taco. No new pics because they look exactly like this... the old ones.
Installed Alpine SPX-13PRO components up front. The gray matches better than that picture shows. That looks like shit actually... wow.
Crossovers under the passenger seat
Also threw on the TC LCA skids.

Relentless sliders VS new body style BMW
So I'm driving home tonight minding my own business when I feel my truck get hit and shift over a foot at the same time I hear whap screeeeech. I look out my window and there is a black new BMW right next to me. I jump a curb and pull into the grass, get out of my truck and look right at two guys in the BMW. They stop right in the middle of the road get out of the car and start telling me how I hit them. I said hell no buddy, both lanes turn left and you just hit me trying to go strait from the inside lane. He says you crossed over the line and hit me. Then he asks for my insurance info. I told him strait up you wanna fight this I'm calling the cops. Then I proceeded to call 911. As I'm talking to dispatch they run into traffic and start picking up pieces of the car. 1/2 of the front grill was gone on the passenger side as well as a smashed out and blown out headlight and the mirror got ripped off as well as some nice 6' long scratches. I get off the phone with the cops and dude says any damage to your truck? I look at it and said nothing I am worried about. He says are the cops on the way so I told him I needed to call the local precint and I just got the number. As soon as I said that he changed his tune, fessed up to trying to cut across traffic and asked me if it was ok if he left. I took a good look at my truck, jotted down his tag number and let him go on his way.
I would of grabbed pics of the BMW, but after calling 911 my blackberry went into some sort of "emergency call back" mode and wouldn't let me take pics or make a call until I turned it off and back on again. By then I had let them leave.
Here is my damage:
side and top of the slider got rubbed
tiny black rub mark on the front of the rear wheel well (BMW mirror)
nice deep black mark on the rear of the rear wheel well (guess this is what ripped his mirror off...haha)
nice scrape down 90% of the length of the slider
I'm sure Ill find some more minor scratches once I clean the URE mud off of it, but no biggie.
So in the end - Thanks to Relentless for making a good product and Rich for welding these bad boys on for me. Not only have they saved me from rocks last weekend, but now they saved my from some dipshit who can't drive.
Ill grab some more pics tomorrow in the daylight after I clean the mud off.

Thanks. Next week Ill have my front suspension on for good finally and then hopefully the skids. Gotta get the exhaust rerouted, but just in case I hit the lottery and get a crawl box I need to find out where the hell to put sed exhaust so I don't have to move it again .
