It was on my list for today, until 'fix broken battery ground bolt' superseded it. That SOB was seized. Ended up just drilling it and throwing a new screw in...

Tore the front of the engine down last night on the 4runner. Left the Harmonic balancer on, and cranked it up.. no accessories, inspection cover off, fan bearing off... I am 90% sure my noise is coming from the Timing belt Pulley on the top. Getting better at tearing it all down.. only took 30 minutes..

Saturday morning getting set up



Tools for the day



Got the ATO IFS skid on



Sliced and diced the resi mount to fit with the bumper support crushing it and running through it



After a little cutting I thew the washer on the inside of the frame since I had the bumper supports off so it wouldn't pull through the frame if I tweak it.



Increased the gap between the cab and front bumper so my fenders don't get ripped off by body flex. Fenders were starting to get a little loose.





Monday night I sanded down slider/frame/bumper rust then wiped it down with xylene and sprayed the whole frame on both sides











All done...for now



Still gotta get m exhaust rerouted so I can get the next (2) skids on

Crank Bolt is kicking my ass, easily the most difficult bolt I have had to deal with. Check out the damages..

Damn Sam, that's impressive.

I got some good stares driving the Dilux to the car wash today. Got most of the Alto mud off, even sprayed out the inside, . Might take a day or so to dry out.
