What have you done to your ride lately?

Frack me..
Damn Sam, that's impressive.

I got some good stares driving the Dilux to the car wash today. Got most of the Alto mud off, even sprayed out the inside, lol. Might take a day or so to dry out.

Scariest part is this is with HAND TOOLS.. I have a 2' breaker and another 18" pipe on the end of it.. I got it to budge, maybe a fill rotation then went to bed last night. Tried after work today, and it's like it is freaking GLUED! I am out of 19mm sockets, need help badly. Maybe someone can bring a propane torch for newyears to help me get this damn thing off. What a pain.

Crank Bolt is kicking my ass, easily the most difficult bolt I have had to deal with. Check out the damages..

I'll bring a torch, some body must have put a ton a red locktite on that thing.

Spray liberally and let it soak for a day or so

well, I half ass sprayed it with WD.. and let it sit for a day.

It's the Bolt holding the harmonic balancer on the 5VZFE. My timing belt was changed by previous owner, I suspect he covered it with Red Locktite.

WD40 is in no where near what PB blaster can do, but it might not help much if it's been locktited on real good. I was gonna say use a big assed crescent wrench but I guess that won't work

During the New Years party.. we are going to work it with a torch Robbie is bringing and get the damn thing off. I should make it interesting and offer a case of beer to the person who get's it off.. :D

Well, impact won't fit for me.. And I broke it loose already the other night. I used a breaker bar, and had to remove the socket turn it and put it back on to turn it a little more. It was taking forever.. making the loud "SNAP" sounds as the bolt slowly rotated counterclockwise. I probably had a full revolution before leaving to watch a movie. Today, it budged a little and then it just stopped. I Tried the starter method twice before realizing I cracked my Chrome socket. went back to the hand method, and cracked my Impact socket something good.

F-ing bolt.. I think heating it up will make all the difference, it's on hold until someone shows up with a small torch or something. Robbie has it covered at the moment.. something to tackle next weekend.

Well then big assed breaker bar it is. Wonder how they do it at the dealer? I know they don't do it with a breaker so that means they are getting an impact in there somehow.
