the write ups I've seen they just use a brass punch, but if you think we can fab one up I'm down...I think I have some junk sockets we could use

The best 'stuff' I've used on 3rds - no weaping or leaks to date! :)

Added more anchor-trax in the bed.

The Rigid Duallies are pretty damn bright. Hard to take a photo of them.

Picked up 20' of 1.5" x 3/16th plate to start building some stuff... nothing crazy just a couple jerry can mounts. I'll take some pics when I get some more done on them.

Good inspiration as I am working on my HID conversion!

I was thinking just pick up a 11/16 end mill to mill out the center of the heat sink... $110 - I guess a 11/16 drill bit will have to do!

I need to focus on the forward facing lights next. The PIAA 510's I have now are ok.. but I'd like a couple sets of Light Forces or a single 14" or 20" LED bar. Of course I really don't do anything to require too much light, at least nothing high speed desert style.. so I think a single 14" LED bar might be the way to go. http://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/products_lights_led.htm

Those LED bars are amazing how much they will light up

It's funny you say that. Most of the time, while crawling, I rely more on the guy in front of me's rock lights. The guy that taught me to fly used to slap you hard if you EVER turned on lights that weren't needed. "What are you trying to blind everyone!!! They know your there!" He learned how to fly a Piper Cub out of a book and a Wisconsin field! Nice! His point was, your eyes adjust very nicely and if you just light up what you need you will do fine. Many people just want to have the bigger is better thing! I'm only converting so I compensate for my lack of a 12" lift! :D

My last trip out to Mojave Road - I was blinded by some asshole H1 that thought I was an asshole with my HID headlights, so he blasted me with about a 14" light bar like that! They are pretty sweet!

My rock lights are very soothing.. :) they aren't that bright... just bright enough for my spotter to see and still maintain some night vision.

Kinda like mood lighting!! :)

Man my camera on my phone sucks! The focus doesn't work anymore :(

Anyway, I'm revising the Lightforce 140/170/240 HID conversion method to the streamlined version. I was thinking about a 11/1"6 end mill and saw the price - NOT! Then I figured a drill bit and then saw the $26 price tag and decided the $3.60 price was 'just right.' I will return the bottoming tap and stainless screws and lock washers tomorrow. I'm just going to black RTV those suckers in there! I figure if it can hold my fender flares on, it will hold my light bulbs in place!!!

Yeah, what's up with Rich? Will he be applying for TX citizenship? Can you hold dual citizenship (Texas/Yank) in Texas?
