With LT, there's plenty of room to pull the CV even with the studs. And having them makes tightening the bolts easier
What if I don't want to?
Those bolts wouldn't press out of the flange in my vise yesterday or the dead blow, so I put the whole thing in the freezer over night. This morning they pounded right out with my dead blow. I think I have frost bite in my left hand from holding carrying that thing to the garage.
I put the bolts back in the freezer and the new axle tube in the oven. They should just drop in

Tried finishing the speakers and amp last night. Just like the last 3 times I started, got a call to help someone move. Maybe I am just not meant to finish this project. I am going to take the truck to the stealership today to get the oil changed.while I go ride dirt bikes with some friends. Then this fucking thing is going to be finished! Unless someone else has a falling out with their roommate and gets kicked out, gets their house sold out from under them by their land lord, or comes back from a deployment and needs help moving in...
Just placed an order for new water pump and T-stat...Looks like great fun changing this thing out.......
