Those look longer than stock. Did you have to use open ended lugnuts?

What a mess. Changed ALL oils today. Misjudged the trajectory on the front diff drain and overshot my drain pan. Going to have to pressure wash a nice little oil spot on the driveway tomorrow.
Oddly the rear diff oil on this truck at 15k miles was dirtier than the rear diff oil on my last truck at 30k miles.

x2 on fluid change. All syn worked out to about $180. Glad I don't have to do that one often...
Annnnnd x2 on making a mess. The transfer case got me. I had the drain open and adjusted the oil tub to where I thought it would move to. When I opened the fill plug to let it flow free, it shot out like shit through a goose. Overshot the tub by a foot...
Cost me about $135 including engine oil.
That stain didnt wash out today. It'll fade over time and will be a constant reminder. I even had my 2'x3' spill pan under the truck as well.
Is it concrete? You may want to try muriatic acid (hydrochloric acid).

That stuff works wonders.
Also if you seal the concrete it wont absorb the future stains and they will come right out.
Good idea. I just used some cheap degreaser from Home Depot.
I sealed it 3 years ago with some cheap Ace hardware concrete sealant. It worked well. I should probably rewash and reseal it, but damn, that's almost an 8 hour job.
If you cote the whole driveway with trans fluid and let it soak in it will create I nice surface. I've seen mechanic shops do this.
Don't forget about the time to get all the junk out of the garage,![]()

I think the 'bite' on the stock lugs with conical lug nuts are about 3-4 threads. Every time I put them on I think I should do the same!
I thought you were talking about Boyd calling the EPA on himself!![]()

Yep the close ended Gorilla lug nuts of which I just purchased 26 bottom out on the longer ARP studsThose look longer than stock. Did you have to use open ended lugnuts?
Indeed I was counting just around 5.5 full turns which I think is not nearly enough.I think the 'bite' on the stock lugs with conical lug nuts are about 3-4 threads. Every time I put them on I think I should do the same!
If you wanted to trade out the wheel studs for something longer but not as long as the ones I listed above nor as pricey you can use the wheel studs from a 2004 Toyota Matrix.I think you might be right.. I just recalled that when I read what you wrote.
Finally spent a little on the Taco... sorta. ARB 47 liter fridge/freezer.
