As long as you start one in advance, it would be nice. The sooner the better for my family, we make camping plans 6 months in advance.

I am secretly planning on it...
A lot can happen between now and then. I just found out today that our big banquet at work is the same weekend as bigbend. So one awesome trip out. I would love to hit NM/CO and maybe Moab with Drew. Maybe make a Friday-Tuesday trip.

LOL.. man having a baby really really really cut into my wheeling time (doesn't help the wife puts in 70 hrs a week). Its sad, but last year I only went 5 times!! Considering the year before it was every other week.
BUT, now that I have a trailer for Clyde its game on!!

Spring Break - stayed at Mission Sate Park, across the street from Davy Crockett Nat'L Forest, between Alto and Crockett
Lots of Hiking, some off-roading in the Natl Park, This sounds good-hit a few utility easements and logging trails off FM 21 and down FS 511 and beyond...Got some of that nice Alto mud on the truck, day dreaming if you know what I mean, although mud is hard to find with out the rain, crossed a few creek crossings in the dream also.
Chainsaw is a must back in those woods, went down one road came back 1hr later and a tree fell across the road, est about 7in size no problem to go over, but damn if it had been one of those 30inch trees = screwed I had no chainsaw...no cell service, no one running CB's within range.
Took the boys on the steam engine train ride out of Rusk.
Went to the Lufkin Zoo and Forestry Museum.
Read like 30 Historical Markers, went to the Caddo Mounds State Historic Site.
Lots of hiking...and yesh geocaching my beers in my coffee mug to drink in the state park!
