Always wanted to long-arm a 2 door long wheelbase Unlimited Rubi (04-06)...

Still needs links, tons, and a V8. The long arm setups eat bushings as the are essientally radius arms, that coupled with the front axle just being a glorified Dana 30 and a rear that is a c-clip semi float that is known to bend axle shafts make it at least to me an unattractive prospect.

I wouldn't buy a Rubi version for sure.. this is true. /sarcasm on I'd keep it totally stock and not think about one tons. /sarcasm off

So you're saying there's a chance!
Gotta pay to play, but I've got way less invested in the turd and it out performs the long arm jeeps I've wheeled with
While this is true and I love Toyotas, I have gotten a pretty good bang for the buck out of my JK so far. My only "real" upgrades have been a bit of armor and it seems to do what I ask of it so far as well as work as my daily driver. Now that's not to say I don't drool over built out old Toyota trucks for a trail only vehicle.

On another note.... is there a date for the annual January trip to Shiloh?

Okay, I saw that on the first post. But I also thought Baker was setting something up mid-January... either way, I'm going to try to make one of them. Even if I will be the only jeep. ;)

We're meeting on Saturday to talk about a week-after-xmas K-trail run, but I haven't heard about any other trips

K trail looks like a paint scraper trail all the way from what other forums were saying.
