I can see the forest through the trees & would rather camp and move than destroy & derp
I have some time off at the end of the year and have been wanting to get back up around the K Trail to explore.
Do you have some dates in mind? I would like to join if you don't mind. I actually put a route together that starts at highway 259 at the Three Sticks monument and head east into Arkansas and pretty much do a big horse shoe back into Oklahoma. Let me know

Got a few of the local Arkansas folks who will be meeting up with Chris and myself out at Superlift in a few weeks. Looks like we'll have about 5 or 6 trucks so hopefully can spend more time on the trails and less time standing around talking.
When are you making this trip?

Yeah we were thinking Bridgeport at first but then kinda changed plans and decided to just do Shiloh since it's literally on the way home. Plus there are a few folks we've met who are new to wheeling and figured it would be a good place to break them in at too 
Bridgeport, K-Trail and another visit to Gilmer or HF are on the radar for this year.
Big Bend and maybe (strong maybe) a Moab trip are also places we were considering this year but we shall see how that goes.

Cool. Moab is always in the plan, every year. Making it is a different story.
We're trying to plan out a few places also. Superlift is gonna get hit this year, just have to find the right time. Jambo in May. Who knows what else. I'd like to go somewhere at least once a month. Bridgeport is just up the road, so that's an anytime kind of trip.

Your Moab is in May. Mine is in Mid-Late June, with a stop in Ouray on the way back...

I'm out on superlift gonna be swapping out axles and as a result very broke

I don't even know that I'll make Moab in May. Might be going to Cancun like 2 weeks before. Don't have the money or vacation time for both trips that close together. Just keeping it in mind. Wanted to do a big trip to Yellowstone but it looks like that's out of the cards this year.

Thought y'all were going to Gilmer. I was going to try for Shiloh this Sunday but the weather is crap. There's a slight chance I can do Sat the 8th...very slight.

Nah. TX4WD is having their Mega Run at Gilmer that weekend and would be cool to go, but saving that trip for Jambo and just gonna take it easy at Shiloh as one of the guys from ttora wants to test out his 4wd on some trails now that his conversion is done.
