Shit, lol. They will be installed by the end of this coming weekend. I am going to get them cleaned up tonight and might get started.

LOL.. figured as much. You are bringing it to HF right?

Of course I am. The plan is to trailer it there, I already took that Friday off work so that I can get there early.

I thought you where but was too lazy to go read that thread. LOL

I'm anxious to see that thing on the trail. Its looking great.

Thanks, I am really looking forward to it.

Got that covered, Prob not going to happen this weekend but for sure before HF. I need to be able to drive it to the shop since I don't have a welder at home anymore and it may or may not be driveable this weekend. Just depends on the shifter linkage I bought last night.

One thing I am a little worried about and do not have a plan for is a rear bumper. I do NOT want to smash up the rear end again. I think I am going to measure the departure angle and find somebody with a little less than me and follow them, lol.

I'd just go pick up a 2x4x3/16's wall tubing and cut to length along the backside. Maybe lay it flat and run it under the sides. Cheap, quick.. and you can use the tubing later for a proper bumper if you want to build one. But just weld it to your old mounts.

I've got a 12' stick of 2x3 3/16 tube if ya want to build something.

This doesn't sound like a bad idea. Just something quick and temporary. Maybe a good project for next weekend.

That would be great if I had a way to get it from you. You feel like coming to help install some diffs this weekend, lol.

Exactly.. not the prettiest, but it would do the trick. A lot less work that a new bedside I'd imagine. LOL

No shit! Actually I am OK with a little (repairable) bedside damage since it still needs to be painted anyways, it is the tail gate and back glass that I am worried about.

Then I would just remove the tailgate
