LOL, thanks Mauzer, I forgot I even put those pics up. Looks like they are taking the 5 with the most votes & I am in a 4 way tie for 9th place. I'm suprised I have as many votes as I do.

Had a little free time this weekend so I worked on pounding out some dents & ended up making a rough cut to removed the damaged sheet metal.

It is tempting. It looks pretty cool being shorter, but I keep going back to the same problem of being able to put the top on. For now the answer is still no.

i want to go and rebuild everything on the 22re add the rv 261* cam

go with new...i added up the parts on engnblder and they seem around 500 for parts...

the question is where do you get your parts? EB the best? quick? helpful?

LCE and DOA look more expensive so just wondering where to get the parts. plus i have a haynes, do i need more then that to do this? if so i will use yotatech and your brain bucket.

EB is a great place to buy your parts. I won't buy any more replacement parts from LCE, they are just plain over priced. Use a Toyota head gasket.
