Actually they held up just fine. I am pretty suprised I didn't even break a shock yet, LOL. I know I limited them out several times pulling tires off the ground. Longer shocks are definatlly on my priority list.

That's pretty cool. Since they are bolt on, you should be able to adjust them to fit some pretty long shocks under there.

Whatever I end up getting for the front will not be my final set-up. I really want the blazeland LT kit sometime down the road which will come with some billies, so I am not going to spend much on longer front socks since they will be semi-temparary. Thinking about just taking my stockers to the local parts store & trying to match up some plain old sensa-craps that happen to be a little longer & have more travel for now, but I still have not really made up my mind. I could get some super still pro comps for $130 all 4.

I talked to him last night & he said that he wouldn't be ready untill next weekend. I do have 3 full days off though, we can get together & do something fun this weekend. I am tempted....weather permitting to repaint the 4runner this weekend, also thinking about taking in somewhere for an alignment. Do you think you could get your hand on a horn for it? Really thinking about trying to get it street legal.

Color? Just be sure to sand it really good before you paint it and maybe use a primer. If you're going to make it a streetable machine then I would highly recommend coughing up some money for the lifetime alignment from firestone it pays for itself the second time you use it.

What are you planning on doing in Houston?

Meeting up with Boomtacoma, to pick up some new tires for the creampuff

Color will stay the same, I was going to use NTB for the alignment since they are close, I'll see how much there lifetime cost, I think it is like $200.

I'm going to grab some horns off some of these old buses today if I get a chance, you want one or two? I'm grabbing two for my truck, factory horn is a bit sissified for me, going to slap on 2 of these big ones instead

The more the merrier. 1 would get me to pass inspection, 2 would be cool. Now I just need to find the wiring on the 4runner.
