It doesn't bother me in the least. I'm just glad to have something.......anything is better than the 25 year old shocks that where on it. I will hopefully only end up using them for awhile, when ever I get around to doing something better with the suspension they will get replaced.

They are pre-runner 8000's. From the prices on the web site it does seem that I bought one and got the other for free. Damn fine deal!

I chopped up some angle iron to get the ball rolling on a new CB antenna mount. Didn't get very far but I am going to machine it a little bit today and try to get this wrapped up before BVORR tomorrow.

i forgot where you were going to mount the cb antenna. bumper mount? flush mount(out of the seam on the tailgate)? or roof mount?

That's cool man. I plan do do the same except I don't have a machine shop to do it in. GOod thing I have some skills with the grinder.

Nothing I am doing that couldn't be pulled off with a grinder, I am likely just too worried about mine being perfect. What I "machined" is prob just overkill feeding my OCD.

Thanks Andy, I hope it turns out good. It is just a blank, I did machine it some and make it pretty but ran out of time so Randy got a hammer out and beat my old one back to a useable shape to get me by for the weekend. I'll work on this one some more this week since it is supposed to be nice out.
