Those are sweet, but Marlins 4.7's won't work in my chain driven T-case. Inch worm has an adapter for me to keep my auto and convert to a gear drive case.

http://www.inchwormgear.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=86

It is the only way for me to make a doubler without a 5 speed swap, but at $550 for the adapter + a used gear driven case ($200?) + $450 for 4.7's from Marlin it is going to be expensive as fuck! When I get to that point I am going to have to seriously consider just doing the 5 speed swap. Not too sure what I will end up doing. I think for now I will re-gear the diffs and keep thinking about it.

You could easily wrap up 2500 in a doubler setup behind that automagic. (2 4.7 cases with all the goodies and adapters)

Yea, thats pretty much what I did, but kept the taco rear case and added some beef internals and input shaft

Thats pretty much just not going to happen. I don't have that much in my entire truck at this point. Adapter and single 4.7 case is more like it.

I might spread a little bondo over it before I re-paint the truck green.

Thanks guys, In truth welding it in flush was done because I didn't have a big enough gap to fit a respectable piece of steel in between the tailgate and rear corner. Strength wise the mount itself is pretty strong, but in theory it is only as strong as the sheet metal you mount it too so strength gain by welding it in is minimal. I can say that it doesn't move, and I will try not to smash it on a tree this time, but no promises :)
