Yotarob's 86 4runner build

Frack me..
Alright, I am thinking here......I know on a standard 4 pin relay you have 30, 87, 86 and 85. The wire from your horn button is just a signal wire, opposite of it on the relay should be a full time hot. Then #30 (I know for sure) should be a ground, and the other should go the the horn. Can't remember which goes to what, I'll let you know in the AM (when I am sober).

85 & 86 are the control side, and 87 & 30 are the work side..

sliders are tacked in place. What do you think before I burn them in?

Thanks Sam, could you dumb that down a bit for me? You mean that:

30 - ground
87 - Horn
86 - Signal from horn button
85 - Full time hot

They look level and close enough to the body, burn them on

I am going to bust the tack welds on the plates and pull them back off and weld them on the work bench, so I can still adjust the distance from the body when I weld the plates back to the frame. I think I like it how it is though, hides the frame well and leaves about a little room for flex. It's going to have to wait until late this afternoon, I am playing Mr. mom most of the day. Brandy should be home around 5 or 6.

Yep, The sliders I got from Drew. They are done and I am happy with them, some of my welds look like shit but I have no doubts that they are solid. I over welded them if anything. Here are all of my pics.

Looks good man. Just in time for HF

Excellent work as always Rob!

Thanks. I need a high Lift to test them. Maybe while we are at camp next weekend I borrow one a see. I bet they won't flex much.

bout damn time...lol

yeah, yeah. 1 thing at a time.

Now I really need to work on getting my fuel tank skid fixed up and back on. Doesn't look like I am going to have time to throw a rear bumper together.

Got my new camera, looks strikingly like my old one. Here is a little trail damage report from HF.

Filthy! Who wants to clean this bitch for me?

Ripped the passenger side rear veiw mirror off

Busted out my drivers side corner marker light and turn signal. Twisted the bumper some also but that is hardly considered damage, I bent it back a little.

Looks good Rob! I broke every light on my 4Runner, some twice in 3 wheeling trips. Get a good front bumper to help protect those corner lights, or do what I finally did.. just pull em out when you wheel. :)

Frack me..
I am amazed I sitll have mine. Took a direct shot with the Raisin, and it came out of the hole.. but still in one piece! lol Never thought about taking them out though. Good idea except for night wheeling. :D

Looks better with the dirt on it Rob!
