I bought a book, then bought a welder. I think some of my welds would look that nice if I was using gas. Others, not so much... but I haven't been at it for very long.

Theory is good - took a welding class in college - helps you not blow holes in things!!! But there is nothing better than practice, practice, practice (on someone else's stuff! ).

Gonna have to cut into the cab to do some "clearancing!" Without cutting into the cab, my wheelbase would be 114-115". Cutting the cab will give me a base of 110" and be able to extend it about 3 inches if I wanted to. . I am closer but further by a day or two!

Yeah, I'm just a bit concerned that my current tank has only 8 gallons of a fuel with about 75% of the BTU energy... figure 6 gallons of gas wouldn't get me too far.

I guess a 3rz conversion would be an alternative!!!

You would be surprised, our trolleys are big black Chevys (8.1) and they will go for ever on the propane.
