I had thrown those pieces away when I got my initial set of AllPoo "skids".. anyhow I had to resource a set when I went with Buds.

I didn't realize the BudBuilt reused those pieces. I think all others, or at least most others, remove those 2 pieces.

Had no idea about that. I've had Buds for a long time.

Cut off the old nut, weld on the correct one. Done.

Since I don't weld I found somebody at work that helped out here and got it done.

Nice! Your wallet will appreciate the MPG increase as well. Less rolling mass and resistance with the tall skinnies. I haven't really noticed any down sides even offroad with the skinnier tires. When my pizza cutters wear out I'm going to get another set as well.

Bought an All Pro propane mount for my 5 lb Flame King bottle. Got it mounted this evening to the trailer.

They still did. I had to modify it. Had to drill new holes because the rubber bumpers interfered with the metal straps. They were a half inch off which placed those straps too high and too low on the bottle. Would have slipped off too easily. Wish that wasn't the case...but reaffirms their crap.

Swapped out both ball joints on my Light Racing UCAs yesterday. Now ALL my front end squeaks are gone....for now.

I have a popping noise from my front driver side when I turn left. The 3 months I had a quiet front end sure was nice though. Guess I'll tear it apart this weekend and figure out what is wrong.

I made it fine, the vibrations only started over 65. Knocked a zerk off and small dent in the shaft. Rumbles like a bad u-joint or maybe knocked the CB up a bit? Seems like there's a bit more play in the CB now.

Aside from the driveshaft thing... The new tires performed better than I hoped. I was quite pleased. I also got to test out my awning windbreak. I've had it for a couple years and never had the opportunity to really use it. The wind and the trailer position aligned and the windbreak did as advertised, it broke wind. I was quite pleased with it. My propane mount and setup also worked well.
