Plans are going to hinge on the hookers and blow

hookers... I'll be bringing my own. Never trust out of state hookers (unless you are in Bangkok and then Drew said its cool). Blow, again, I'll bring my own in these shiny yellow cans marked Shiner Bock. :)

And close enough to vegas to resupply both should we run out

That's Mr Asshole to you
Tent cots are HUGE.. I'm not bringing mine. They take up too much real estate in the bed.

They do seem a little big but when you figure it replaces a tent, air mattress, and air pump it's not that much more space. I am tired of messing with my air mattress and want something a little more comfortable. Either the tent cot or a truck bed tent. Figure those take up even more room and have to be broken down each day to use the truck.

A DV trip would be pretty sweet.

It doesn't replace an air mattress. If you don't put down an air mattress you'll freeze your ass off in one.. plus the floor of the tent is HARD.

So you're saying there's a chance!

Man I just got a new mattress pad that is the most comfortable thing I have slept on not counting an actual bed

I have this setup, Nemo's Cosmo Air Pillowtop.. its better than my big ass Kelty inflatable mattress. Its a total of 3" thick. Basically a 2" thick air pad, complete with built in pump and a 1" memory foam topper.. the air pad just slides into the pillow top cover so they become one. Rolls up small as well.

I plan to get a pad for it. The display at cabelas had a nice cot pad but I'm going to look at some other options. I also found a Big Agnus bag that I really want. It's a bigger 15 degree bag that has a pillow pocket, wind guards and a hood.

Oh, and that Nemo air mattress... its all one unit but you can take them apart if you wanted to. But you don't have to assemble it each time you use it.

Frack me..
yeah, I almost bought one of these red ones.. it was 129 at Cabelas, and I thought I could find it cheaper easy... still haven't.. meh, in love with the tent cot anyways, Bianca found this really slick fan. It has a magnet for base, you still one piece outside the tent roof, and then the fan hangs inside.. the battery pack lasts a long time, bunch of d cell batteries with a Cigarette lighter connection.. charge cell phone during the day, and run the fan at night.. slick.
