Finished reinstalling the rear passenger window motor. I ended up having to pull out the the glass too so I could remount the metal and rubber that holds it to the window mechanism. What a PITA. Couldn't have done it without help from Brian.

The cheap fix worked great and the window rolls down almost all the way; about 2" sticking out when it's all the way down.

Here's what I got. I think they look good, not the best pic though. My only issue with them is that they're well inside the front fender. LT will fix that and it will look perfect.

Just pull them off, scuff them up with a Scotchbright pad, paint them black and reinstall.

Indeed, plus I'm trying to get rid of all the chrome. I don't know if I want to leave the fenders naked though. They're usually the first thing to scrape.

Leave them off you don't need the tire coverage with those skinney tires. If you really get into something other than other than brush then they won't do any good saving the sheet metal. This is why I don't like the skinney tires I like them to stick out past the fenders so that they contact first rather than the fender.

True, I don't think they'll offer much protection. The tires should stick out past the fenders a little by the time everything is done.
