Some dude asked for a rear stuff pic, and since I was pretty curious too I went and got one.

Believe it or not this is full stuff (leaf springs are flat)

Looks like there's enough room to push back another inch. I think I'll do it when I install some better leaf springs.

I'd put 4.7:1 gears in the case you have and wheel it. Duals is nice but rarely used. 4.7's are more practical, I found myself only in low-low when I was fucking around. For wheeling i kept it in 4.7:1.

I think I'm gonna leave 2.28 in both of them for now. That way compound low will be 5.2 and I'll still have a good medium low gear if I don't want to drive around in 4H. The plan would be to put 4.7 gears in the rear case eventually.

At 54°, today was a perfect day to get some stuff done outside. So I installed the front shocks and checked for clearance. I couldn't be happier with the result.

No loading on the torsion bars

At full drop, the shock clears the UCA by about 1/4"

Wasn't able to get the suspension to stuff ALL the way, but I got it close, and there was still about an inch of clearance left

Nice Drew, glad to see those shock mounts allowed enough room for the arm to travel, gotta be thanks to all that hardcore dremel work I did lol

Indeed. Anything that meant I didn't have to hold that damn grinder anymore. Your help was appreciated.

Just ordered that Dakar Springs and AAL from TRDParts4U.com. Price on the leafs went down $3 since the last time I ordered them, lol
