Experimenting with mounting options...

The first "hook" - I may rework this one so that it sits wider, like the one below. Also note the different "layering" of the steel. The 2x4 is just for mocking it up, I will probably have a cleaner ledge to make it level and keep the air gap constant for the condenser fan.

This inner eyebolt was a bitch to work around the crossmember. (Stainless hardware including eyebolt)

This one (passenger) was a bitch too as I found that it was double wall. I am going to clean up this hole and use a body plug (to keep it 'water tight' while allowing it to be serviceable.

This is the second "hook" I fabbed. I think it's a bit cleaner. :) Speaking of clean, I need to clean that carpet!!!

It is not a war crime the first time.

I do like the idea and layering of the bottom restraint. That is a good idea for restraining the fridge though.

Thanks but not sure I understand. You mean the 2x4 or the metal strapping?

Where the carpet is separating is where the seat hinge goes. I am thinking of a simple weldment with bumper on either side to keep it in place and level. It would mount into those holes.

Went out and tested the fridge mount and as my brother was famous for saying, "It's not going anywhere!" Now just to get new turnbuckles that won't require me to have a wrench to tighten/loosen them. :) Foward to 0:21

Copy - thanks. I was going to use bar but I wanted to distribute the force. Thinking about 'rubberizing' the hooks.

I have some yellow Plastiderp I can send you? Thanks @tx_shooter for gifting it to me. #bastard lol Still new in the can. :)

Speaking of carpet. I bought the little one an orange Fanta in glass bottle at Home Depot several months ago. She set it on the curved plastic that is below the seats (passenger side rear seat is out and the fridge is there so there is a couple inches between them.. an area she could set the bottle. I pulled forward and it tipped over... dumping all the contents somewhere. Got home and pulled the seat up and I have no idea where the soda went. No carpet stains, no smells but its gone. LOL Now if I fast forward to the next time I have to pull the interior I am sure I will find it.
