When you reassemble do use the tool or compress the spring and pull it through the slide, then install the slide. Also, have you done any mods?

The little takedown clip seems cheap. $.05 solution to a $.50 feature.

I don't use any tools to reassemble it. No mods, but I would like a trigger job.. it could be a lot lighter. Only have one barrel, the 5" target barrel. I wish it had the option to hold more than 10 rnds though.

Just watched Guns & Ammo review the 22lr P22 this week. I DVR it so no idea when it aired originally but it looked like a fun little gun and they gave it good praise.

I passed by an outdoor range a few weeks ago with my nephews. I need to look it up.

Between the idiots shooting unsafely next to you, the long drive, and bleeding of my wallet for some lane time = I'm done with the indoor ranges around here.

or two kids next to you with a bolt action 22lr who grow some tard balls and rent a .480 casull. Then disregard my advice to only load one round for their first shot and almost blow my head off with it when they lose control and start double firing into the ceiling. Never went back again or renewed my membership...I'm sure Ive told this story before.

I had a guy with a Desert Eagle the next lane over... I ended up leaving in disgust. At the time I had a membership so it didn't cost me anything extra but it was truly annoying. Sadly a thought ran through my head: There have been a couple of suicides at this particular range - maybe, just maybe the guy with the desert eagle would do the deal. Yes I am bad.

Those are more great examples of why I try to avoid public ranges during peak usage times. I do not want to die because of some once-a-year gun expert.

I agree.. most times I go shooting I take Kenna to my wifes families property. I can setup a "range" down in the creek bottom (12-15' tall walls) and shoot up to about 30 yards. Perfect for handguns.
