How'd that go? Group size?
I sighted in at 100 yards and put a few shots in the bullseye. I don't have a pic of the target since the wind ripped it off the post and blew it away with a few other peoples targets lol I mainly shot at 300 yards and 400 yards. It was extremely gusty that day with gusts from 13mph to 22mph. But I was consistently hitting a full size IPSC target at 400 yards. I tried ringing the smaller circle steel targets but it was too damn windy and we couldn't see where our shots were going.

Shooting at the long distance ranges is a lot more fun since you manage yourself. There wasn't a dedicated range master for us and all the guys shooting were cool and we were allowed to manage our own down range target swapouts which was nice.

EDIT: Also shot 400 yards on a tripod sitting down. That was pretty tough since all your movement contributes to moving the rifle every which way instead of just up & down -slightly to the side when you're prone (kinda hard to explain via text). I thought tripod shooting was really cool and would make it easier. But we didn't shoot with it standing up, so that might be the issue there.

Bought a 1000 rounds of 9mm and 250 rounds of 45ACP hollowpoints from Freedom Munitions today. They are having a 5% off and free shipping sale today.

I also picked up a small Pelican camera case for $30 on Amazon to carry my Glock pistol around in.

Also got a Geissle reaction rod on sale to work on my AR's easier than the plastic crap I have now.

I'm interested in seeing the chrono numbers on the ozark ammo rounds. I exclusively buy from them for my blackout needs. Really can't beat the price on them. Post up some numbers if you get a chance. I ran another 30 through my blackout yesterday with no problems. I have at least a 1000 through mine now with no issues.

Which variety of theirs are you shooting? Also how long were your lead times? I'm gonna try shoot some through a crono with Zech and also shoot them into water at like 15 yards and 100 yards.

The shipping is really the only letdown from Ozark. It has taken up to 3 weeks in the past. I mainly shoot the 147 fmj and the 220g hpbt

Well, went to the range yesterday. I can put ten 45s in a head in 8 seconds at 10 yards and put 5/6 44 mags in a head at 30 yards.

I can probably hit the side of a barn with my sling shot....Texas CHL instructors teach COM, not head-shots and I would not boast about it on the www in case I was ever involved in a defense situation of my own, I would not want any extra legal attention.

I will have to try those out, what is the barrel length and twist that you use?

Mine is the same. PSA upper, nitrite barrel

Ok I have a 16in AAC upper and I was getting .75in groups at 100yds, that was with the cheaper Remington ammo, the nicer ammo or better brand ammo didn't perform as well. I will post what ammo I was using later, just can't recal

I have a 16" 300BO Ballistic Advantage barrel that groups really well with Supersonic Remington ammo. I shot the 220 grain subsonic Remington but it didn't group well. The 220 grain subsonic Remington Hog Hunter grouped a lot better surprisingly than the other 220g. I expected it to be about the same.

Ordered a 1000 rounds of 9mm FMJ and 250 rounds of .45ACP hollowpoint from Freedom Munitions. Hopefully I'll get it before the next black Friday sale lol. I've heard they can have terrible waiting times on ammo orders.

Also ordered a Impact Ballistics book for my 6.5 Creedmoor with a chart that's made specifically for my scope's reticle.

Also ordered a Giessle AR bar to work on my upper receivers. I'm not a big fan of the plastic ones I have now. They get the job done but can be a real PIA.

Also ordered a bubble level for my Vortex scope. And a wheeler's torque wrench for mounting my scopes. I'm tired of constantly borrowing my buddies wrench. I'm also finding more nowadays that a lot of items have a torque spec. So this will come in handy in other areas as well.

And lastly, I got a small pelican case for $30 to hold my Glock or other pistols in when I travel with them.
