So how much do you have in your .308 silencer? How difficult to assemble/make?

All said and done it will be about $200 in parts. But that's because of the titanium tube and aluminum baffles I got. The upgrades make it much lighter, and also allow me to easily change baffle stacks if I want to.

The first version cost < $100, and it worked great

Who sells the titanium tube? I didn't see it on the preppers page. I need get on this. I bought that sps 700 AAC so it's ready.

I have no idea WTF how this works, but I won it in a raffle that Radical Firearms put on for the Texas flood relief charity they're running... seems interesting...

That's a big charging handle! Would work well with gloves.

I'm glad you cleared that up. I thought I could have one, just not install it and wait for the approvals.

Well, technically you can have all the parts. Just don't drill any holes in the end cap or whatever you're going to use as baffles.

Then the VERY FIRST thing you're supposed to do once the Form 1 comes back approved is engrave the serial # you selected onto the tube.

I used a Dremel engraver with diamond tip and it worked on the Titanium just fine. I could have paid someone to make it look nicer, but that's not really in the spirit of DIY suppressors, lol.

VLTOR upper (w.o. forward assist)
Ballistic Advantage 16" 300 BO barrel
Syrac adjustable gas block
Spike's Tactical Pistol gas tube (black)
UTG 15" Pro rail (insanely good product for the price)
Silencerco muzzle brake (for future suppressor).

I did not expect the accuracy I got out of this setup when I shot it at the gun range this afternoon. I love it so far.

I still need to get glass for this upper. Debating between a Vortex scope and a Pulsar N550. The pulsars winning so far lol

Nice man!!

Thanks! At the gun range I go to, they only count both my uppers as 1 gun. That way I can shoot 2 rifles for the price of 1! lol
