I've also been looking at the SS LTB's in 34x10.50 which measure out to a 34.5x11.50. Plus I can get 5 for $1,100.
Fuck skinney tires, spend 100 more dollars and get some IROKs

...Also that "ping", it's this driveshaft.I have it now also when I let off the clutch.
Hunting that crap down is a pain in the ass. I wasn't able to get rid of mine until I got a CV driveshaft AND angled my diff up to point at the T-case
We still on for Fri? Also that "ping", it's this driveshaft.I have it now also when I let off the clutch.

Yeah, I never had it with the stock DS and John has had it for a while......we recntly swaped DS's (his Tom Woods 1 piece) and now I have the smae ping he was having.
Maybe the 2 piece just sucked that much more?
Randy your whole rig is a rock magnet.

With a nice true DS haven't candy caned or dented it yet
You're gonna have to try something else if you ever install a crawler

I've had the ping before.. a few times... once it was the double cardan and once it was the rear end taking a dump.![]()
Well, to my knowledge, Tom Woods doesn't use quality parts. I know lots of people use them without issue, but if you have a choice, get one made with american manufactured dana parts.
Also, the one piece CV shaft is not able to do it's job properly unless your rear diff is tilted up toward the T-case. In fact the one piece shaft is WORSE if you don't tilt the diff
maybe so? But I had a slight shudder from a starting standstill even when I was stock height.
Why would you get a one piece DS for anything other than a reg cab. Thing would be a massive rock magnet
