It's all square tube, I think we could pull it off easy
Either way I was thinking square tube would be the easiest and strongest. I'll need to get some plate too and build some quarter panel protection.
I'm available all week after tomorrow. You can come over every evening till the meet if you need to
...maybe I can convince her to go to dinner with Mal and Christa this week and we can do it while they're out?
That sounds like a really good plan
I'll talk to Mal and Ang and get the wheels turning...
Just went and bought a cheapo angle grinder from Harbor Freight for $12.99 and a 10 pack of cut off wheels. I'm off work tomorrow for the funeral so I may just pull a late night and hopefully get the bumper mounted tonight if not tomorrow. I need to go grab my oil drain pan from my parents to do my xfercase fluid, then hopefully go to Drew's sometime this week to do the bl and cv
Yeah, she's wanted a little lift so she can run a bigger tire and this is the cheapest way (for me) to give her that...she's a total mallcrawler so it won't matter to herCan't wait to see that bumper mounted. So I assume from reading that the plan is to pull the BL off of your runner so that the bumper will match up correctly and put it on Ang's?

The late model 3rd gens have plates welded on the end of the frame rails that need to be cut off to allow aftermarket bumpers to be mounted, they changed the front bumper mounting in 99 I think to include a crumple zone or some shit. Its referred to as the "fat lip" bumper, I think it started in 99 with the redesign of the front grille, etc. What needs to be cut off for the bumper?
if you and drew need a hand just let me know, been busy lately with this house and wedding plans myself, but I can always stop by real quick i'm not far from drews
