Not really, Its why I'm not bothering to hook one up for a while. I like the site glass idea that Paul posted up... simple. My only concern would be something hitting the tube/fitting during a flop/rollover and causing a leak.

I wheeled with out a fuel gauge for awhile and it sucked. It always seemed to run out of has at the worst possile time. I would either figure out how to make the stock gauge work or throw an Auto Meter gauge in it.

But with my fuel cell its really easy to check the fuel level.. just pop the top and look inside. Plus I can well all weekend on about 5-6 gallons of fuel.. so my 15 gallon cell should be plenty.

If you fill up before you head out you should run all day with the 22re no problem.

Make sure you mount the cell with the pickup toward the rear of the tank Marcos ftoy had the pick up facing forward and it would starve for fuel on steep uphill climbs.

I plan to have multiple pickup points inside the tank. Its also a very narrow tank so in order for it to be starving it would have to have less than a gallon or two of gas. Shouldn't be an issue.
