Yeah I was going to hold off on buying them. But I need to tear into the front end next (ball joints, possible unit bearing, and just general maintenance) so I figured I'd look at options. Summit wanted $430 bucks for the setup and I found it at 4WP for $240?? Roughly. Reviews where good, but not many of them. So we'll see.

?? Hard to say... maybe 20k. Honestly I'm not sure. Its had a very slight vibe under braking for a while. Its not real bad, and its not getting any worse... I could probably live with it for a lot longer. They have about 40k on them though.. maybe 35-37k.

You shold get them turned and sell them. Or just sell them to Rob, since he can machine them himself :)

Well.. mounted the solar controller and light controller up under the solar panel tonight. But I lost the lid! Pissed me off because last night I cut out a new one that fit "perfectly".. I painted it and somehow its disappeared in my "clean" garage. Before in my pile'O mess I would have found it. My guess is that I mistook it for the old one and pitched it. Damnit! Guess I get to cut out another one.

All the black and white wires will go to the various lights (left/right/back and down).. but thats another nights project. Got a few of the leads built for it but decided to do one thing at a time. I also put in a spare fuse holder for a future project.

I used grommets everywhere I could, but when I ran the main battery feed wire through the rack I wasn't able. It runs inside the tubing to keep it clean. So some electrical tape should work. An MSD weatherproof connector allows me to remove the rack and only disconnect one plug.

Then I ran the feed line to the battery, but didn't connect it yet. Ran out of steam. But just from the 60 watt CFL in the garage the panel was putting out 5 volts. Not bad.. in bright daylight its closer to 21.

Thanks.. I really need to put a "DONE" stamp on this project. The heat has been killer though.. hard to get motivated. But the Big Bend trip has me stoked and motivated. :D

Hope to get it all wired up this weekend (that never happens.. but one can always dream). Then its onto the front end.

yeah, he's a dick that way :D

You know, my EBC rotors didn't come with mounting instructions... or I didn't pay attention if they did. :) But the Powerstops are labeled driver side and passenger side. When I look at how I have them mounted I see that my EBC's are backwards according to Powerstop!

Oops! Didn't notice any performance issues but ya never know. New ones will be mounted as per labels.

I'll have to check mine. The M3's are directional all the way around but their vanes are curved - I don't remember the EBCs having curved vanes.

Also if it makes you feel any cooler, Death Valley is currently (10pm) 101 degrees! lol

Thing that blows for me is the garage faces about 30 degrees northwest. So in the summer it gets the full brunt of heat on the doors... turns the place into an EZ-Bake oven. Next house will have a garage facing north..maybe about 20 degrees to the east even. Or just man-up and get it climate controlled. :D

Cool but what would be even cooler would be some 17's with a Big Brake kit (only $2k).

Those speed bleeders work pretty good? I've seen them advertised in several different places and was never real sure about them.
