I did have rubbing issues. I had to cut back my cab mount to eliminate it. Where is it rubbing on yours?

I finally got the longer studs for my front end so i'm sure that once i put a 1/4" spacer in the front it should get rid of it!

I may need to examine it a bit closer. Do you have a pic of what you had to cut?

Just look for rubbing in the wheelwell and on the cab-mount. You can't miss it, it will be noticeable. It varies from truck to truck how much you'll need to cut and where. But for me it was the plastic inside the wheel well (both in the front and in the rear) and then the cab mount. I also smashed in my pinch welds to gain some clearance. Seems that the better your suspension is, the more rubbing you will get. People with 3" spacer lifts don't seem to have as many issues because the thing doesn't really flex that well.

I found I got an additional inch of clearance back there when I switched from UCA's from a company that has a champion rock crawler and offshore fabricators to Camburg UCAs.

Which area did you gain the clearance at? At the cab?

Yep. Right where I did all that work to get clearance - I probably would be able to stuff 35's in there now! :)

Cool! I didn't notice any gains when I installed my TC's.. but I didn't have anything to compare it to since I did the UCA's and lift at the same time.. and I never had another brand of UCA installed. You installed the new Camburgs that have the larger Uni-ball didn't you?

Yep - and the 'other' ones have that same, larger uniball.

I finally got around to installing my 2500 watt inverter. Welded up a small frame to hold it in place inside the tool box. Also added a wired remote that is inside the cab. I also wired it into the 120v outlet in the bed, disconnecting the OEM plug. I think I'll look into wiring the OEM inverter into the cab somewhere, since its already in the cab to begin with.

Also wired up a switch to control my Oasis compressor, it matches the ARB air locker switch.

I also swapped out the OEM fog light switch for another Contura switch to match the ARB switch. I have a few more, one for the rear locker and one for the OEM fog lights, but getting to those switches is a PITA!

Damn! That thing would power the flux capacitor! What else do you plan for that? I'm thinking that would be a nice thing - the only real AC draw that I have is my curling iron and Zoom's electric blanket - Oh, I almost forgot the rotating mirror ball!

I have no idea what I'm going to power with it. :). Maybe a fan for my tent, although I used it today to run my shopvac.
